Understanding COA’s

How to read a
Certificate of Analysis

A Certificate of analysis (COA) is a third party lab report showing the  precise levels of cannabinoids in a product. MASS (%) represents the percentage of cannabinoids in the entire product while MASS (MG/G) represents the amount of Mili-grams per Gram.

Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) is the lowest amount a substance can be detected (e.g.  .038 and above is detectable). If the cannabinoid is lower than the LOQ it will be represented with ND or non detectable. The cannabinoid may still be present in an amount smaller than the LOQ used for testing

Cannabinoid summary

Total cannabinoids represents a combined total of all cannabinoids measured. Total THC is represented by the percentage of THCA multiplied by .877 plus Delta 9 THC. THCA%*.877+D9=Total THC

THCA converts to delta Delta 9thc at .877 conversion ratio when heated to a certain temperature, the process is commonly known as decarboxylation.
